Two years have past since we finished The Henhouse (my graduation film) at the NFTS. Thanks again to all the people who participated.

Here you can find the list of all the screenings we had, the awards we won and the main crew who I look forward to working with again.

I hope you enjoy it.

The Henhouse US premiere!

The Henhouse was premiered yesterday (26th April) in Athens International Film and Video Festival (Ohio, not in Greece :p) and we had a review at  FDIV the floating-point divide blog!

The Henhouse by Elena Pomares — My favorite of this bunch. Breathtaking yet quaint visuals, in the style of the collages of Jean Arp. (I suppose this piece could potentially be disqualified for approaching the topic of social responsibility, but that’s far from its urthema. The marvelous execution outweighs this slight transgression.)

How fantastic is that!

From today and until Saturday there are going to be shown at the BFI all the graduation films of the NFTS done between 2009-2010. Three industry days at the BFI (Friday is the animation day, yey!) and one friends-and-family day on Saturday at the school in Beaconsfield, where they are going to show aaaaaaaall of the films one after the other in one day…so those who are thinking to attend get ready for the marathon!

these are the designs we’ll probably use for the postcards (if the colour of the title doesn’t give us any problem when printing)

Duncan has designed the dvd back with all the information for start to send it away, even if it’s like a work in progress. Feels weird to start to think about promotion and distribution when the film is still not finished. It’s a big relieve that there’s people helping out and taking care of this so I can focus in the last stage of the film.
