I was walking down the street the other day and as expected, last week before the elections, you have people giving pamphlets away of the parties they follow. My surprise came when a quite young girl gave me a conservative pamphlet. Maybe I shouldn’t be that surprised but I think there’s something going wrong when young people, who are supposed to move the countries forward with new and more extreme ideas, the ones who are supposed to think that things can be changed and must be changed because the world is unfair and corrupted, etc. vote for conservatives.

I have a sketchblog!

I’ve started a new blog which is a sketchblog!

At the sketchblog I’m going to be posting sketches (you’d’ve never guessed!) doodles and drawings and I’ll keep this one for my silly things and the day by day stuff.

Basically I needed extra space to show sketches and character designs on my website (which is quite small), so I created a blog attached to it… and problem solved!

It is still in a very early stage… I’m still figuring out how to manage and organize the blog, so excuse me for the messiness and constant changes I’ll be doing.

The Henhouse US premiere!

The Henhouse was premiered yesterday (26th April) in Athens International Film and Video Festival (Ohio, not in Greece :p) and we had a review at  FDIV the floating-point divide blog!

The Henhouse by Elena Pomares — My favorite of this bunch. Breathtaking yet quaint visuals, in the style of the collages of Jean Arp. (I suppose this piece could potentially be disqualified for approaching the topic of social responsibility, but that’s far from its urthema. The marvelous execution outweighs this slight transgression.)

How fantastic is that!

A bit late this year, but better late than never, here is my little doodle for St Jordi (St Georges day in england) which again is one of the most amazing days in Catalunya when you get surrounded of books and roses.

I know it’s been a while… I’ve been working making a logo and a small animation for “The Resistance” team ( Phil Moreton, Liz Schusser, Alex Moore and Emily Turton) who is participating in the Mongol Rally 2010. Let’s hope they’ll raise lots and lots of money for the charity!
